Hi Folks,
We have been invited to submit a full proposal to the USDA SCRI program for GDR (current funding ends August 31 of this year). If you are submitting a proposal to the same program and you will have data that can be submitted to GDR, could you provide the title of your proposal and the PI information so I can list it in our proposal.
Many thanks

Hello everyone,
I wanted to send out one more general reminder about the upcoming RGC7 conference (http://www.rosaceae.org/conferences/rgc7). If you are a presenting author, and have not registered yet, you have until May 15th to do so otherwise your abstract will be removed from the program. If you know you are not coming, please let us know at rgc7(a)rosaceae.org<mailto:rgc7@rosaceae.org> so we can adjust the program as needed. All registration fees must be paid by May 15th for presenting authors and attendees.
Pre-tours-There is still room on both pre-tours. If you have already registered, you can add a pre-tour to your registration by modifying your registration on the payment site (https://www.etouches.com/ereg/index.php?eventid=78010&). You will need to enter your email address and reference number from the registration confirmation email. Details about each tour can be found at http://www.rosaceae.org/conferences/rgc7/tours .
Breeding and GGB Workshop pre-tour--We will be making the hotel arrangements in Wenatchee ($109 + taxes). Registrants will be paying for the hotel at check-in, and I will be contacting the registrants soon about whether they want their own room or if they want to share for the reservations.
Mt. Rainier Trip-We need a minimum of 39 people for this trip. Currently there are 18 people registered. If by May 15 we do not have 39 people, we will have to cancel this trip and issue refunds.
Conference hotel in Seattle-We have a room block at the Red Lion on 5th Avenue in downtown Seattle (http://www.rosaceae.org/conferences/rgc7/hotel). Reservations must be made by May 24 to get the conference rate of $179/night.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
See you in Seattle!
