This is a reminder that the upcoming Plant and Animal Genome (PAG) XXVII Conference will
be held on January 12-16, 2019 at Town and Country Hotel and Convention Center, San Diego,
California. Those who desire to present a talk at ICGI Workshop, scheduled on January 13,
2018, are urged to send us your abstract by October 19, 2018 (Friday of next week) via
email to cotton@zju.edu.cn<mailto:cotton@zju.edu.cn> and
john.yu@ars.usda.gov<mailto:john.yu@ars.usda.gov> with the following Subject Line:
2019 PAG-ICGI Workshop Candidate Abstract. Your abstract should follow guidelines for PAG
and must indicate a name of the presenter.
We will select six regular speakers (20 minutes each), whose abstracts closely relate to
the workgroup themes of Applied Genomics and Breeding, Comparative Genomics and
Bioinformatics, Functional Genomics, Germplasm & Genetic Stocks, and Structural
Genomics. If you do not get a response acknowledging reception of your submission, please
inquire! Also note that PAG poster abstract submission deadline is October 26, 2018, a
week after this selection.
Each accepted workshop speaker will then receive an email from PAG, upon acceptance, with
instructions regarding official submission of their workshop abstract. All speakers must
register for the conference by the November 2, 2018 deadline. If any of the speakers need
a Letter of Invitation or a Visa Letter, please visit the page of "International
