ICGI Workshop – Call for Oral Presentations (PAG-33, January 11, 2026, San Diego)

Dear ICGI Members, We are pleased to invite you to submit abstracts for oral presentations at the upcoming ICGI Workshop to be held during the PAG-33 meetings in San Diego, CA, January 9-14, 2026. This is a great opportunity to highlight ongoing and emerging cotton genetics, genomics, molecular biology and breeding research within our community. A total of six oral presentation slots are available. The ICGI Workshop is scheduled for 4:00–6:10 PM on January 11, 2026. Call for Nominations for the 2025-2027 ICGI Election--Feb. 28, 2025 Deadline

Dear All: On behalf of the ICGI executive committee, I am opening nominations for ICGI officers. We request nominations for the open positions listed below. Those elected will serve as co-chair for 2 years followed by 2 years as chair (total of 4 year commitment). 1) ICGI Overall Co-Chair 2) Breeding and Applied Genomics Co-Chair 3) Comparative Genomics and Bioinformatics Co-Chair 4) Functional Genomics Co-Chair 5) Germplasm and Genetic Stocks Co-Chair 6) Structural Genomics Co-Chair Please send your nominations to David Fang (David.fang(a)usda.gov<mailto:David.fang@usda.gov>) and Xianlong Zhang (xlzhang(a)mail.hzau.edu.cn<mailto:xlzhang@mail.hzau.edu.cn>) by Feb. 28, 2025. ICGI members can be nominated for only one position per election, but in successive elections can be nominated for positions other than the one they currently hold.
