Dear Friends,
WCRC-8 UPDATES
I am delighted to provide you with the following updates regarding the WCRC-8:
* The deadline for submission of abstracts and full papers has been extended to June 30, 2024.
* The deadline for registration fee at US$ 450 has also been extended to June 30, 2024.
* The Journal of Cotton Research (https://jcottonres.biomedcentral.com/) has kindly agreed 'in principle' to consider publishing a special WCRC-8 edition of full papers subject to peer review and acceptance.
* Consequently, all full papers should be prepared according to the format prescribed at https://jcottonres.biomedcentral.com/submission-guidelines/preparing-your-m….
* Please note that papers may only be submitted through the WCRC-8 website and NOT directly to the Journal of Cotton Research.
* Upon receipt, each full paper will undergo preliminary scrutiny by the WCRC-8 Editorial Board before being forwarded to the Chief Editor of 'The Cotton Research Journal' for peer review.
* Authors who have already submitted their full papers are kindly requested to resubmit them after formatting them according to the guidelines for publication in the 'Journal of Cotton Research'.
* Should you encounter any difficulties with uploading abstracts or full papers, or with registration or payment gateway issues, please send an email to me <keshav(a)icac.org<mailto:keshav@icac.org>> with your abstract/paper/registration details using the following subject in the email: 'WCRC-8-ABSTRACT', 'WCRC-8-FULL PAPER', 'WCRC-8-REGISTRATION', or 'WCRC-8-REGISTRATION PAYMENT'.
* Please be aware that a separate payment gateway for a special price registration for Uzbek Nationals is expected to become operational by May 12/14, 2024.
* It is important to note that the ICAC will consider providing support to researchers from ICAC member countries only if applications are submitted through the coordinating agencies (https://www.icac.org/About/CoordinatingAgencies?MenuId=3) or delegates (https://www.icac.org/About/Delegates?MenuId=4). For selected candidates, the ICAC will cover registration, accommodation (5 nights), and provide a support allowance of US$ 250. However, flight fares will not be covered for any participant. Researchers who have already contacted my email address seeking support are requested to resend their applications using the format below with a subject WCRC-8 APPLICATION FOR SUPPORT:
