Hello Everyone, Please disregard if this is a duplicate copy of this message. In an attempt to get it out to everyone some lists will have overlap. One month ago Amy Iezonni and I presented a community response to Dr. Ed Kaliekau's request for a list of gaps and priorities in US Rosaceae research, along with a roadmap for the next directions. Since then we have learned that apple and peach will be sequenced, leading to an immediate adjustment and refocusing of research priorities. We also have been advised to whittle the list down to three essential priorities rather than a laundry list of all possible research avenues.
