Dear All,

I would like to thank Janet Slovin for her wonderful work on taking down the minutes and for Cameron, Herb, and Jim for their input. I am attaching the minutes to this document so that the committee may have a chance to review them before we vote on them - please be specifically attentive to the addendum to the minutes made by Cameron that essentially expands the nomination of the secretary position to people that have been on the committee for some time and guarantees continuity of membership of secretary, vice-chair and chair until they are done serving as chairs.

I am looking for a quick turnaround for these minutes - I would like a vote on them by the end of the week so that we can proceed with the elections. I am also trying to schedule a conference call by the end of the month. Would Friday March 27 or Monday March 31 work for most of you?
