As a reminder, this is our website: https://www.rosaceae.org/community/us_rosexec
One of our first items will be to select a new secretary for 2022-2023, who will become vice-chair in 2023-2024, and chair in 2024-2025.
Thank you all!

RosEXEC is a group of Rosaceae community members that serve as a communication and coordination focal point for the US Rosaceae genomics, genetics and breeding community. See our webpage: https://www.rosaceae.org/community/us_rosexec
We are asking the GDR mailing list community to vote for five US based 2022-2025 members and 3 international liaisons in an election that will be open until Friday 4/22/2022. Vision statements and CVs are available through the voting link below:

Hi--
Here's a quick update on the RosEXEC election. We have 6 candidates for the 5 US open positions, and 5 candidates for the 3 open international positions (there is an error on the ballot that states there are 2 positions available, and that is getting fixed). I confirmed with Kenong Xu that he didn't want to have a longer vision statement included.
Please take a quick look at the ballot:

And here's the current updated membership roster on the website:

I propose that we hold elections April 11-22. Please let me know if this is not reasonable, or if you have any other edits before the ballot goes live and I send to the invitation to vote to the GDR mailing list. My plan is to finalize the committee by the end of April and then find a time to have a meeting in May.
Thanks,
Gayle Volk
