I am writing to communicate the results of the recent ICGI election. On behalf of the steering committee, I want to thank all candidates taking part in the election. We very much appreciate your willingness to serve our international cotton genetics and genomics community.

Also, I would like to thank you all for the opportunity to lead ICGI as overall chair these past few years.
