Results of the ICGI election

I am writing to communicate the results of the recent ICGI election. On behalf of the steering committee, I want to thank all candidates taking part in the election. We very much appreciate your willingness to serve our international cotton genetics and genomics community.
Also, I would like to thank you all for the opportunity to lead ICGI as overall chair these past few years. Despite a global pandemic, ICGI continues to foster collaboration and interaction among international colleagues and friends. Please join me in supporting Prof. Xianlong Zhang of Huazhong Agricultural University as he officially becomes Overall Chair of ICGI, and my congratulations to newly elected steering committee members!
