Dear Rosaceae International Genomics community,

 

At the last RosEXEC meeting at PAG30 we decided to re-instate annual RosIGI meetings, which haven’t occurred for a few years.

 

The purpose of RosIGI is to ensure communication among Rosaceae researchers across the world (so not only US) and coordinate international efforts on key initiatives that might be undertaken. More info here: Rosaceae International Genomics Initiative (RosIGI) | GDR

 

We are thinking of having a virtual meeting a couple of weeks after RGC11. It would be great to know who is interested in participating and has something to discuss/share with the community. We can have some time for presentations as well.

As it is very difficult to find a time that suits everyone around the world, suggested times are chosen to encourage participation from NZ, Europe and Asia. We can easily liaise with America afterwards.
