This is really bad news. I think that we
cannot afford to loose such a useful resource, that would be a clear step back
in the progress of Rosaceae genomics. We have to start thinking of ways to keep
the GDR going.

Hi Folks,
NSF are unable to support a renewal for GDR this year
although a small supplementary award to the original grant may be possible.
While it is very dissapointing, we will continue to do what we can while we
pursue other sources of funding but please be aware we don't have any resources
available to us at the current time.
You have been a really great community to work with and we
appreciate all your support as we have built the database.
